Lunedì 30 settembre 2019, ore 15.00, aula Seminari, terzo piano, edificio Fisica, Dipartimento FIM, Modena.

Relatore: Simone Di Mare, PhD - Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Centro Materiali e Microsistemi (FBK-CMM)

Abstract: ADAM (ADditive mAnufacturing of Metal superalloys) is a research project pursuing the development of high-level technological and scientific skills in additive manufacturing for fast prototyping. The aim of the project is the development of the know how to produce high quality parts in Ni based superalloy using Selective Laser Melting, an Additive Manufacturing technique, for two specific and high challenging applications in the energy and aerospace fields. In this seminar a project overview will be presented outlining the technological challenges addressed and our strategy and methodology to provide a solution. Some results about powder characterization are discussed, as well as some recent progress. A brief outlook on the equipment available in both Fondazione Bruno Kessler and ProM Facility for additive manufacturing and related activities will also be given.
